COVID-19 Update: October 15th, 2021

Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that two patients have tested positive for COVID-19.  The patients were in the same room, have been moved to the “hot” unit and placed on transmission based precautions.  We have begun outbreak testing among patients and staff on the affected unit and will continue testing that unit every 3-7 days until we are 14 days without a positive test result.  We are closely monitoring all patients in the center for signs and symptoms.  Staff are routinely tested twice per week while the community transmission rate remains high.  At this time visitation is not impacted other than for the positive patients, but please continue to expect that our screening process will be strictly followed prior to entry into the Center.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Todd Yacovone, LNHA
