Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing today to share news that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual will remain at home until the CDC’s return to work criteria is met. Because this individual had no close contacts that were identified during contact tracing, this new positive result will not initiate an outbreak. With that said, we will continue to screen all staff members at the start of their shifts and monitor all patients very closely for symptoms of the virus.
